The Shirt Tales started in1980 when Hallmark released a line of greeting cards featuring five animals that wore special shirts that would flash to represent their feelings.! Rick (a raccoon), Tyg (a tiger), Digger (a mole), Pammy (a panda), and Bogey (an orangutan). On Saturday morning, September 18, 1982, Shirt Tales made its television debut on NBC. They lived in Oak Tree Park where they would battle crime in and out of there hometown, Mid City. Mr. Dinkel was their best friend.
