Cupcakes were produced in the early 1990's by Kenner & Tonka and then by Fun Source in 1998. When you turned the dolls plastic skirts inside out, they transform into edible goodies with their hats being the icing! They were also scented. Each doll came with a handbag shaped comb. There were 6 different series made, 5 of which turned into cupcakes and 1 series that turned into sundae's.
